Visually Vintaged had the most amazing weekend Southwick Revival.

Despite the shocking weather on Saturday in true British style many of you braved it and came to visit the stall, thank you all so much.

Thanks also to all the organisers for another exceptional year of bringing the event together to make it such a success. And thank you to all our neighbouring traders who also smiled, laughed and ensured everyone was ok in the wind and rain.

See you all again next year 👍

Sir John Mills, renowned English actor who appeared in over 120 films throughout his career died on this day in 2005 at the age of 97!

Possibly one of Britains finest stage actors transcending into films with a string of classics such as Kind Hearts & Coronets, The Ladykillers and The Bridge Over the River Kwai.

Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor DBE sadly passed away today 2011. She began her career as a child actress in the early 1940s and was one of the most popular stars of classical Hollywood cinema in the 1950s. She then became the world's highest paid movie star in the 1960s, remaining a well-known public figure for the rest of her life. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked her seventh on its greatest female screen legends list.

The beautiful May Wynn, sadly passed away March 22, 2021 at the age of 93.
May was a dancer, singer and actress starring in The Caine Mutiny, They rode West and The Violent Man.

Born 8 March 1922, the beautiful and talented dancer Cyd Charisse.
These beautiful original images from 1941, 1951 and 1955 are available to buy from Visually Vintaged who specialise in vintage images and adverts.
