Kevin has been a long standing customer of We Burns It, from when we first started off. Having done some of his art on slate, yeti mugs with his logo for art classes he hosts and even Japanese steel toyo metal tins for art supplies used by his customers.

Much like how a few of our long-standing and return customers are finding something a little bit extra with their order, Kev had an item very useful for him included. The best bit for me, it was a home delivery!

This bottle features some of his artwork, converted to work on the engraving. From high-flying birds to the depths of the jungle, he’s got it covered. And of course an amazingly drawn military diver.

Patriot, a term that’s been thrown around a fair bit recently. I own an EVERYDAY PATRIOT tee, its one of my favourite bits of clothing I own, not just because of the quality, but because of the story behind it. An armed forces veteran, doing good things and making good products.

An everyday patriot, someone who has chosen to serve their country, their community and protect and serve a way of life. Whether it’s the armed forces community or emergency service workers, they live and breathe the Union flag and their sweat is red white and blue. And remember, a-lot of people who are currently being abused in person or online, didn’t ask to be in that position.

The police chose to run to danger and keep the peace regardless of the situation.

The lifeboat crews chose to answer the fall to save anyone in danger on the sea.

The ambulance crews chose to save and preserve life no matter the circumstance.

That is patriotism. The enduring will to serve, protect and celebrate your country.

I nearly didn’t wear that tee this week, but I did.

If you fall yourself a patriot, consider what you can do to create positive change, to help people, to support and guide people.

Confirmed: We Burns It will be at the Southern Steps UK Line dance and country music festival held at Portsmouth Guildhall , offering live engraving on cups and bottles. Bring in your own Yeti, Stanley or other brand for a custom design. Don’t have your own? No problem… there will be a range of different brand items from brands like hydroflask and Aidan Urbanarkoverland for you to buy on the night. Alternatively, buy a pre engraved item on the night. Apparently John is so excited to meet Kerryl Phillips again!

Sticker drop: Inspired by a few of our favourite movies this idea was born to visualise our culture. It’s not about putting jobs off, it’s about fuelling the drive and passion and attacking it with the energy of a Great White Frickin’ shark! But it also represents what we do, personalise and create unique drink ware. 

We’re pretty sure it’s been mainly coffee cups and drink bottles… we don’t know about any tea sippers here. 

The high-quality stickers are laminated for extraordinary durability for the elements. So whether it’s on your bottle, laptop, car or shark. Rest assured it’s built to last. 

We used a real designer for this, no Ai. The incredible did all the amazing graphics and a small business did the stickers. We didn’t use any big companies. We used The Stickerjob . The money to produce these went straight to people who are putting food on their tables and paying the bills. A proper small business circular economy. 

Business done right. 

Stickers are £2.50 or you may find them in random orders.
