After archery last night we went foraging!!! It’s a fantastic area where we go and has blackberries and elderberries everywhere..but I also spotted this plum tree (although we couldn’t reach them ☹️)…we will be back for more next week 😁 l’m thinking jellies rather than jams for these but I was also asked for a Hedgerow Jelly last year so maybe combine them next week?? Half the onions at our allotment started to bolt (flower) with all this dry weather last month, and they stop growing at this point…so harvest and process…the greens are in the dehydrator for onion powder, I’ve chopped the bulbs and frozen most of them in portion sizes, then I’ve kept some more ready for the popular Hot Sri Lankan Aubergine Chutney as the The Trash Cafe Network had some aubergines yesterday…only way I’ll eat them 😳🤣….ecofreaksuk Wicor Primary School Genesis Centre - Locksheath … ❤️♻️
