Another appliance repair completed!

This Hotpoint washing machine had a faulty door lock that had burnt out, a common fault that can prevent the machine from starting or locking the door properly.

We replaced the faulty door lock and got the machine back up and running again. ✅

At Govan Appliance Project, we don’t just sell refurbished appliances — we also carry out repairs to help keep appliances working and reduce unnecessary waste. ♻️

Although Govan Road is currently closed, Govan Appliance Project is open as normal and we’re here to help. Access is still available, so don’t let the roadworks put you off!

Just a quick update from the Govan Appliance Project.

Our boss is taking a well-earned break for the next 10 days and will be unavailable during this time. As a result, phone calls will not be monitored or returned.

However, it’s business as usual for our customers:

✅ Our shop will remain open Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm
✅ Appliance deliveries and installations will continue as normal
✅ Emails will be checked and responded to
✅ Facebook messages and DMs will still be answered
