Hey everyone 👋🏻 (this is NOT a Black Friday deal 🙈)
I just thought I’d update you all on my current situation as I’ve been absent for a while…sorry!
I took a bit of a social media break earlier in the year, I found I was spending so much time on Instagram / Facebook for business and personal use, and it got a bit too much!
I also didn’t have the time to make orders due to Felicity’s sleep being broken and her dropping her naps, so I had to pause Fliss & Mama ☹️
During my little hiatus (whilst dealing with the hourly tantrums of a toddler 🤪), I had a chance to reflect on where I ideally want to take my career. I actually quit maths teaching earlier this year in the hope of finding more of a work-life balance! I have discovered a love for coding 💻 & I am currently studying towards a nanodegree in Data Analysis which has a lovely job at the end of it which starts in January ☺️
On a side note: I’m currently working at Hawkens Gingerbread HQ - who make the BEST gingerbread & ginger nuts you’ll ever taste (). So if you’re stuck for gifts this Christmas, I’m personally ordering some of their bundles and making my own hampers to give to friends & family!
So, it’s all change for me at the minute. My hope is that I can restart Fliss & Mama in the new year as I will have my evenings back ☺️🤞🏼
Finally, I’d just like to add that I have really missed you all❤️. I’ve missed checking in and seeing how all the other local businesses are doing, my customers and my fab reps! The community I had on here was incredible and I hope I can rebuild it in 2022 when hopefully I have a bit more stability at home with some much needed sleep 🥰 I hope you’re all well and enjoy the build up to Christmas! (29 sleeps to go!! 🎅)
