Or should we say... a good problem! 😄

Our Montezuma's shelf is looking rather empty because so many of the bars have found new homes.

The good news? A much bigger delivery is on its way, and we're expanding the range with lots more delicious bars for you to discover.

We can't wait to fill these shelves again... and we might even have a few exciting chocolate tasting ideas coming soon too. 👀

When he’s not choosing chocolates, chatting with customers and keeping the shop running, Mr Chocolace sometimes swaps the counter for a guitar! 🎶

Yesterday Malcolm was performing with 'No' Rubes and the Dudes at Ilkley Live, playing under the gazebo as part of a brilliant day of live music.

We love being part of a community full of talented and creative people — and yes, there’s a little more than chocolate happening behind the scenes at Chocolace! 😄

🎸 Mr Chocolace has a bit of a double life...
By day he's surrounded by chocolate, liquorice and chutneys. By night he's swapping truffles for guitar solos as lead guitarist with Rubes and Dudes!

Fun fact... he owns 14 guitars, and yes, our back room doubles as a rehearsal room. 🤣

A huge thank you to Joe Davies Giftware for this thoughtful gift to celebrate 10 years of partnership.

We've been working together since 2016, and we're incredibly grateful for the quality gifts they supply to Chocolace and the fantastic relationship we've built over the years.

Running an independent shop is all about people, and we're lucky to work with suppliers who genuinely appreciate their customers.

Today Chocolace and The Cake House took a well-earned day off! 😊

Malcolm and I joined our friends Steve and Trudy from The Cake House Grassington for a mystery trail around York. It was a scorching 32°C, the clues had us scratching our heads at times, but we laughed our way around the city and had a great day together.

As independent business owners in Grassington, we love what we do, but every now and then it's important to take a day out and come back refreshed. Thank you to everyone for your understanding while we were closed today.

We're back open as usual tomorrow and can't wait to welcome you! If you're in Grassington, why not pop in and support our friends at The Cake House too. ❤️
