Hello my lovelies. Unfortunately I have decided to leave Morrisons. My last day was yesterday. I just wanted to thank you all for your unwavering support over the years. You have shown how important community spirit is and what we can achieve when we work together.

Get excited! Santa is gearing up for the big day and I’ve just been told by Jingles the Elf that Santa is dropping into Morrisons Grays tomorrow morning from 10am to 11am. It’s the actual real Santa so if you’d like to bring your little one down for a photo please do so.

We had a wonderful day today. We had 2 fabulous school choirs in to entertain our shoppers. St Thomas’ this morning and then Quarry Hill this afternoon. They all sang beautifully and between the 2 schools they raised a whopping £150 for Little Havens Children’s Hospice.
Thank you so much to the children who performed, the teachers that helped organise it and our wonderful customers for donating.

We look forward to welcoming Thameside in tomorrow and then Treetops on Wednesday.

We have our friends from Treetops school in today. They have been INCREDIBLY busy making some lovely Christmas gifts. Please come and have a look. All money raised will go towards their vocational enterprise.

I’m at Morrisons Corringham this morning with an incredibly talented group of students from Gable Hall. They are singing to our shoppers and raising money to help youngsters in our community that will struggle this Christmas. Please donate if you are able to, making sure no one goes without this Christmas.

Today I had the honour of laying a wreath at Grays War Memorial. Once again, the community came out in droves to pay their respects. I would like to pay a heartfelt tribute to everyone in Thurrock who steps up and supports others. Thank you.

The final day of the Poppy Appeal in Morrisons Grays. 106 Air Cadets are here all day and are doing a fantastic job in supporting the volunteers selling Poppies. We had a little visitor who made a special trip to give his pocket money to the Poppy Appeal, thank you SO much A. Your support means so much to so many 💫
