I absolutely love working with precious clothing that has already been part of so many special memories. There’s something so lovely about giving those much-loved clothes a new life while keeping the memories attached to them.❤️

From Much Loved Clothes to a Lifetime of Memories ❤️

This beautiful memory bear has been handmade from a loved ones cherished tops, giving precious clothing a new life while keeping a little piece of her close. 🧸❤️

Every stitch has been sewn with care, knowing just how treasured these fabrics and the memories they hold are.

Included are two little hanging hearts from the remaining material, so that none of those special memories had to be left behind.

A memory bear to cuddle, two hearts to treasure, and memories that will last forever.

It is such an honour to create keepsakes like these 💕

Clothes may be made into something new, but the memories will always remain. ❤️🧵

🧸 From little clothes to a forever keepsake ❤️

I absolutely loved making this gorgeous memory bear 🥰

Made from a toddlers football shirts, tops, knitted tank top and cap that had been lovingly stored away, these precious little garments have now been given a new lease of life as a beautiful keepsake to treasure for years to come.

To make sure nothing went to waste, I also made two little hanging hearts from the leftover fabric ❤️

There’s something so special about taking clothes that hold so many memories and making them into a cherished keepsake that can be displayed, cuddled and enjoyed rather that sitting tucked away in a cupboard.

The face behind Maggie May Bears… and the very special lady who inspired it all. ❤️

This is one of my favourite photographs of me with my lovely mum, Maggie.

Many people don’t know that Maggie May Bears was named after her. She was the one who first taught me to sew, and together we spent many happy hours making all sorts of beautiful things.
Looking back now, I realise that she gave me so much more than just sewing skills - she gave me a lifelong love of creating wonderful things with my hands.

Each memory bear, cushion and keepsake I make is stitched with the same care, patience and love that she taught me all those years ago. It means the world to me to be able to turn treasured clothing into something that helps families hold onto precious memories.

Although Mum is no longer with us, a little piece of her lives on in every keepsake I create. I know she would be so proud to see that the lessons she taught me have grown into this little business that I love so much.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Maggie May Bears over the years. Every order means more to me than you could ever know 💜
