Last day in Ottawa.

Many thanks to friends old and new, their hospitality and truly Canadian welcome. It was great to be back again and I will be back very soon.

The Ottawa sign was actually the seed that planted the idea in the head of my late husband Nick when he was Mayor of Malvern.

“Malvern can do that.” And so we did!

It’s awards week in the greeting cards world where we have been nominated at the Retas for Best Greeting Card Retailer - Midlands.

Unfortunately Mr. A can’t attend the ceremony in London on Thursday 2nd of July as he is currently in Canada; try as he might to move Canada Day on the 1st and a friend’s birthday on the 3rd.

Good luck and bonne chance (currently living a bilingual life) to all my fellow nominees. If anything, the award should go to our customers for making us winners already going by the number of cards we sell.
