We are delighted to announce that the search for a new Shop Manager has come to a successful conclusion.

Following our recent recruitment process, we are pleased to welcome Mina Hynds, who will take up the role at the beginning of September. Over the coming months, Mina will be working closely with Symeon and members of the Shop Committee to ensure a smooth and seamless handover.

Many of you will already know Mina, first and foremost as a dedicated shop volunteer, local resident, organiser of the Flower Show Dance, and familiar face at Lee Common School.

Symeon, his wife Sue, and Laura, have made an enormous contribution to Shop at The Lee over the years, and will be a very tough act to follow. I’m sure you will all join us in thanking them for everything they have done, while also giving Mina a warm welcome and your full support as she builds on the continued success of our much-loved village shop – Shop at The Lee.

We're open late again today. supporting the finals of The Lee Tennis Tournament.
Matches are at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, and we'll close after the end of the last match.

Shop at The Lee is currently the coolest place around, thanks to the aircon!

Don’t forget we are open late today whilst The Lee Tennis Tournament semi-finals are being played, with one-set matches at 11:30, 12:45, 14:00 and 15:15.

The next two Saturdays (27th June and 4th July), Shop at The Lee will be open until after 4pm, supporting the semi-finals and finals of The Lee Tennis Tournament 2026. Rather than our normal Saturday closing time of 1:00 pm, we'll be open until the end of the last match.

Whether you're coming along to support the players or just passing by, do pop in.

Many thanks to everyone who came along to this morning's Mediterranean Food Event.

It went brilliantly, and we hope you enjoy everything you bought - there certainly isn't much left!

We do however still have some of Block & Butcher's meat skewers plus a deli selection of hams and sausages, particularly Spanish style tapas meats, so please pop in to top up your purchases - we are open from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon tomorrow.
