I was lucky enough to go to workshop and have a go at making some silver jewellery. I absolutely loved every minute of it and Iโ€™m so pleased with the results!
I melted silver scraps into a solid piece, hammered, filed, stamped and drilled; it was so interesting to see all the stages and how much goes into each piece; 100% recommend!

Time to introduce you to another fabulous member of our Bluebirds family! The lovely Haychley from with her beautiful and imaginative linocut prints.

โ€œHello, Iโ€™m Haychley and Iโ€™m a traditional linocut printmaker at . I create original designs in my little Norwich studio- usually based around themes of the natural world and my life in Norfolk, and one of my goals on 2023 is to explore portraits and landscapes more in my linocuts.
๐Ÿ’™
I teach linocut printmaking in Norwich and Acle and do lots of events around Norfolk. I started self-teaching linocut five years ago and have never looked back! Itโ€™s such a mindful fascinating medium and really helps my anxious brain when Iโ€™m concentrating on it. I just pop on an audiobook and Iโ€™m away for hours.
๐Ÿ’™
I took the plunge last year and left my full-time job to fulfill my dreams of running my own small business- itโ€™s so much work but I love it! You can find more about me on my Instagram/website (www.stellabox.co.uk) and come join me at a linocut workshop too ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป

โ€œI started Salvaged Norfolk several years ago by upcycling old furniture as I loved turning something tired and unappreciated into something beautiful.
๐Ÿ’™
This love of recycling and upcycling evolved into salvaging pieces of timber that were destined for landfill as I knew I could create interesting, beautiful homewares from them. I take great pride in knowing that a piece I have created will be admired in someoneโ€™s home.
๐Ÿ’™
Our products include vases, bottle openers, candle holders, wax melt burners made using vintage spoons and paper decorations and garlands made from vintage books and paper. I have also recently started making geometric wall art which I am really enjoying.
๐Ÿ’™
We have a strong eco friendly, sustainable ethos; not only creating our products from reclaimed, recycled, vintage and retro materials but also that all our packaging can be recycled.

We are so lucky to know all these wonderful makers who have joined us over the yearsโ€ฆ itโ€™s making me so nostalgic for our markets and our lovely community! This lovely lady is Sarah from ; an absolute sweetheart and incredibly talented artist.
๐Ÿ’™
โ€œI initially trained in Fine Art and after taking a career break to raise four children I became fascinated with the ancient art of mosaics and have been trying to combine the two for nearly 10 years now.
๐Ÿ’™
I love pushing boundaries and discovering new ways to bring my subjects to life; to capture their spirit, their personality and character using old crockery, vintage tiles, broken glass and anything else I can get my hands on!โ€

โ€œI originally started my journey in stained glass, as a method of relaxation from my day job. I enjoy using the ancient techniques and skills to turn glass into works of art. From this I naturally was curious to try kiln formed glass and when a small kiln came available, I became hooked. The variation of techniques from consideration of the alchemy of the glass, reactions, adding inclusions (such as silver, copper and even plants) and kiln carving means that the variations and options to create are never ending!
๐Ÿ’™
The thing which really captures my heart is colour. I love the beautiful colour of glass and its amazing properties as light reflects though a piece. Living in the Broads National Park with the views of the surrounding countryside together with walks along the coast gives me endless inspiration for my work.
๐Ÿ’™
My work includes both functional and decorative items from pictures, to lanterns, suncatchers to bowls and Christmas decorations to personalised commissions. I also like to have gifts and art to cover a range of values so that there is something affordable of my work for everyone to enjoy.

โ€œIโ€™m an artist, printmaker, photographer, public speaker, writer and educator based in sunny Suffolk. Having left teaching in 2017 I started Unruly Print, aiming to make your lives and homes just a little bit unruly through the medium of print and with a little help from my rusty friend Dave the Pressโ€
๐Ÿ’™
โ€œAll my designs are hand drawn, hand cut and hand printed, including a mix of modern imagery, traditional methods and text based prints. Iโ€™m always looking to create new editions so please feel free to suggest an idea ๐Ÿ‘โ€
โ€œPlay is at the centre of all of my creative endeavours. I believe that having fun while making my art will help make my work just as much fun for you. I love helping people discover their own creativity and published โ€˜Create with Andy Gโ€™ in 2021โ€

โ€œI started making things to sell way back in 2012 with a dear friend that was the start of my journey. I have always loved to make things, I forage on the shoreline so these things have come together to create my artwork. My first pebble picture was the heart of sparkly hearts; still one of my favourites, I was given a sparkly heart from a friend so I created it onto pebbles and have been making them ever since.
๐Ÿ’™
My artwork has evolved and I love to make little houses with driftwood; each piece I make is totally unique depending on the wood I find , I also use reclaimed beach hut wood from a friend who kindly gives me the old bits he takes off when heโ€™s repairing them. I love to see the layers of colour evolve as I prepare it to use in my artworkโ€

โ€œI work with and am inspired by the photographic process; experimenting and using the qualities of different methods to create an image. Photographing brief moments or taking a simple subject or process creating an image that isnโ€™t always easy to recognise. Leaving the viewer to interpret what has been photographed.
๐Ÿ’™
During the first Lockdown I started to experiment with Cyanotypes and havenโ€™t really looked back. Using the flowers foraged from around my home on the North Norfolk coast and grown in my garden to create compositions.
๐Ÿ’™
Experimenting with what else can be used as a canvas, including eggshells, seashells, fabric, wood and the more delicate washi paper resulting in an ever growing range of different pieces. This has produced lots of unsuccessful prints, which havenโ€™t gone to waste and have been up-cycled into smaller things like earrings and gift tags.
๐Ÿ’™
I have also created DIY Cyanotype Kits so people can have a go at the process themselves.โ€

Time another post! The super lovely and always cheerful Sarah from has been a stall holder with us many times with her immaculately sewn baby and childrenโ€™s gifts.
๐Ÿ’™
โ€œI have always loved anything creative but my love for beautiful fabrics and sewing only started about 6 years ago after I made some little childrenโ€™s bags for a nursery where I was working. The children absolutely loved them and I was asked to make some more as gifts. My search for gorgeous fabrics began, my passion grew and Cotton Rainbow was born.
๐Ÿ’™
I started to create new gifts such as childrenโ€™s aprons, bunting, baby blankets and comforters.
Recently I was asked to make a personalised memory cushion with newborn baby clothes. It was amazing to create such a special keepsake. I loved it so much I have added it to my website.
๐Ÿ’™
All my items come boxed and gift wrapped with the option to personalise and to add a gift card.
๐Ÿ’™
I have some cute little Halloween items still available and some new Christmas gifts being added every day.

โ€œWith a passion for everything crafty and outdoors, lockdown brought the opportunity to try something new.
Leather work using traditional techniques and material allows us to express ourselves making everything from bags and wallets to belts and dog collars and lots in-between.
๐Ÿ’™
To date we have never made 2 items identical so everything we make is truly unique.
๐Ÿ’™
The favourite part of our craft is to make bespoke items that will last a lifetime and beyond.โ€

โ€œWe are Yaz and Dom from Cosy Posy Co. and we make beautiful dried flower posies! Everything we do is as sustainable as possible and completely plastic free, we don't use any horrible foams or floral tapes and find ways of making beautiful things without them.
๐Ÿ’™
We started out in January 2021, in one of the lockdowns, to try and spread some happiness through sending sweet little letterbox posies to our friends, and suddenly we spiralled into where we are today.
๐Ÿ’™
Our posies and wreaths almost look alive and have their own unique style, something we have stayed true to, and incorporate into every new idea we have such as our Christmas baubles and hair accessories. Our forever favourite will be our posies which will definitely add a little touch of cosy wherever they go.
