Today's card from me was made using the Jingle Bells stamp from Francoise's Christmas Collection. After ink blending and stamping the panel I used Francoise's Postage stamp die to create the perforated holes. I put some gold mirri card behind. Nice and simple.

🪿A different take on Gwen Tangram Collection 🪿

I think this is my favourite card I made with Gwen's new Woodware collection, I thought I'd show a couple of different ways to use some elements... So I started with an asymmetrical stamped wreath design using the smaller stamps from the Regal Rooster stamp set, once stamped, I drew a line with a fine black pen around the base of the images, then cut this out to make an irregular aperture.

On another piece of card I stamped the rooster image, I coloured it to look more like a hen than a rooster, then fussy cut it out so I could tuck them into the aperture I've made. To add some interest behind the aperture and in the white space of the card, I took a leftover die cut from the Filigree Tangram Die Set and used it to add some subtle patterned ink blending into the background. And finally I finished the card with the Get Well Soon sentiment from the set :D

You could easily create a similar card with the other 3 animal stamp sets from Gwen collection too! Christine ###

Why not get creative with your border craft dies.

Here I have been having a play with Woodware Chains and Borders Craft Die Set - WFRD0012, to create simple modern backgrounds.

Cut out from scraps of card, or use your inks to create a blended background.

These cards are a great way to use up scraps of card, but also for batch making cards

The blue card uses Distress Oxide inks to blend a background with white die cuts. The green card uses card scraps, and uses the negative to create a card. Keep the green tree die cuts to create another card (2 for 1)

Today Gwen will be on Hobby Maker at 4pm and 7pm with her brand new Tangram collection. So don't forget to tune in or record to see this beautiful new release of stamps and dies. Gwen will be showing lots of inspiration and doing some great demos.
My card today is featuring the fox and some of the triangles from the die set to form corners to frame the image. A very simple way to feature the beautiful image.

This collection was apparently inspired by beautiful ceramic tiles you might find in a farmhouse kitchen. My first thought when I first saw this collection was William Morris.
Here is just one of the beautiful creatures you will find in this collection. Gwen will be on Hobby Maker next Tuesday with this brand new release of 8 beautiful stamp sets and two die sets (oh my!! the dies are amazing).
