Good Morning ☺️ Sorry it’s been a while, as the wedding season started up again with a bang, my other business Raspberry Rose Designs had to take full priority and what a joy it is to be designing and creating wedding stationery again 💗
I have been given the honour recently of painting a tribute commission. I jumped at the opportunity to get my brushes out again and paint something so special for friends I’ve know for more than 10 years!
The design brief for the piece was based around a Robin softly nestled within flowers featured in the funeral wreath for such a loved father. Yellow roses and blue delphiniums were the prominent flowers followed by calla lilies, gypsophila and daisies.
Prints on handmade paper were taken from the original watercolour to be given to family members and pressed flowers from the wreaths were placed in the frames.
