Calling all creative sewers for a bit of fun! You will need to be available on the Saturday 5th September 11am till 3pm
Think you can turn discarded materials into something incredible?
We're looking for 6 experienced, imaginative sewers who love the challenge of working with recycled and reclaimed materials to take part in our Recycled Sewing Bee Challenge!
Your challenge will be to transform a selection of SCRAP materials, fabric and other scrap items chosen by us into a unique creation using your creativity, sewing skills and imagination.
What's up for grabs?
The winner will receive a £50 SCRAP voucher to spend on creative reuse materials.
We're looking for people who
have good sewing skills and are able to use different mediums.
Enjoy designing and creating from unusual recycled materials.
Love thinking outside the box.
Can complete the challenge within the agreed timescale.
It will be judged by two local judges who have years of experience in fashion and sewing.
