Wow! Things have been a little crazy around here all of a sudden! After a flurry of followers, new enquiries, and lots of orders, I thought it would be fitting to reintroduce myself!

Hi, I'm Abbie, the face behind Cuddle Me Close Keepsakes 👋

I started Cuddle Me Close Keepsakes in April 2023, turning precious clothing into keepsake bears and memory animals. What began as a creative hobby quickly grew into a business that I absolutely love.

Every bear you see on my page is made entirely by me. From carefully planning your design and cutting into those treasured garments, to sewing, stuffing, personalising and packaging your finished keepsake, it's all done by my own two hands.

A few fun facts about me:

🧸 I've made hundreds of keepsakes since starting my business.

☕ Coffee is usually within arm's reach while I'm sewing.

✂️ I genuinely get excited when I see fabrics that will make a beautiful keepsake bear.

🐄 When I'm not sewing, you'll often find me helping out on our family farm (or trying to herd my two children which is like herding cats!)

🎄 Christmas is my favourite time of year (which is handy, as it's also my busiest season for keepsake orders!).

🎄 Christmas Keepsake Bear Slots Are Filling Fast! 🎄

I only have capacity for 20 more keepsake bears to be completed and delivered in time for Christmas. ❤️

If you've been meaning to turn those precious baby clothes, school uniforms, memorial items or loved one's clothing into a keepsake bear, now is the time to secure your place.

📅 Clothing must be with me by 26th October 2026

Please note that Christmas slots are allocated on a first clothing delivered, slot secured basis. Placing an order alone does not guarantee a Christmas completion slot.

Terms & Conditions:
• Limited to 20 remaining Christmas delivery slots.
• Your slot is only secured once both your order has been placed and your clothing has been received by me.
• Bears will be made in the order that clothing arrives.
• Once all 20 slots have been filled, any further orders will be completed after Christmas.
• Clothing must arrive no later than 26th October 2026 to be considered for a Christmas slot.
• Christmas delivery refers to dispatch before Christmas and cannot account for unexpected courier delays.

🎓🩺 Congratulations, Dr McGregor! 🩺🎓

After years of hard work, dedication, late nights, exams, placements, and perseverance, Dr McGregor officially graduated this year — and what better way to celebrate such an incredible achievement than with a keepsake made from the scrubs that were part of the journey. 💙

His wonderful wife secretly commissioned this keepsake bear as a graduation surprise, created from his medical school scrubs and personalised with the dates marking the beginning and end of his studies.

It was an absolute privilege to create something so meaningful and to play a small part in celebrating such a special milestone.
