Spark has just announced a 1:5 replica of Andrea Kimi Antonelli's helmet from the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix!

Mercedes ran a wolf-inspired theme at this event, and Antonelli got in on the act too with his helmet design. After making a poor start from pole position at Suzuka, the Italian seemed to be up against it, but a couple of overtaking moves and a fortuitously-timed Safety Car saw him take the second Formula One win of his career.

We have just received Tecnomodel's 1:18 replica of the #6 Ferrari 330 TRI-LM that triumphed at Le Mans in 1962!

The 1962 Le Mans 24 Hours saw Olivier Gendebien and reigning Formula One world champion Phil Hill team up in Ferrari’s sole 330 TRI-LM. Their main opposition consisted of several other steeds from the Prancing Horse; mainly 250 GTOs, but also a 246 SP campaigned by the Rodriguez brothers.

On the second lap Gendebien took the lead from the Aston Martin DP212 of Graham Hill, but for the first half of the race the 330 TRI-LM was engaged in a fierce scrap for the lead with the Rodriguezes. This was only resolved at around dawn on the Sunday morning, when the transmission failed on the Mexican siblings’ machine. With all of the other serious competition proving either too slow or too unreliable, Gendebien and Hill were left to nurse their #6 machine (which itself was giving cause for concern with a clutch that was playing up) to victory lane.

We are now offering to pre-order 1:18 and 1:43 replicas of all 62 cars from this year's running of the Le Mans 24 Hours!

Although none of these models have officially been announced yet, we know that traditionally Spark produces the replicas for the majority of the field, with the exception of the Ferraris which are usually offered by Look Smart. If there are any changes to that remit this year, then we will of course advise you accordingly.

Werk83 has just announced a very interesting 1:18 subject, in the form of Michael Schumacher's crash-damaged Ferrari F300 from the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix.

In the appalling weather conditions at Spa in 1998, race leader Michael Schumacher ran into the back of David Coulthard’s McLaren as he came up to lap him, ripping off his Ferrari F300’s front wing and front right wheel. The German then crawled back to the pits to retire, completely incensed. Werk83’s 1:18 replica not only features that damage but also has wet weather tyres fitted, as well as a ‘dirty’ race-aged effect.

We have just received Spark's 1:18 replica of Max Verstappen’s Ford-Red Bull Supervan 4 from 2023!

Ford’s series of Supervan promotional vehicles commenced in 1971. The Supervan 2 then came along in 1984, and the Supervan 3 in 1994. The latest version of the machine, the Supervan 4, made its debut at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Powered by four electric motors that gave a total output of 2,000 bhp, it had a spectacular 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of a smidge under two seconds. Its top speed was given as ‘over 300 km/h’.

Following the 2023 announcement that Red Bull would be joining forces with Ford in Formula One, the Supervan 4 was painted up in the grand prix team’s livery as a marketing exercise. Max Verstappen then drove it at the lesser-known (i.e. we’d never heard of it!) Grand Sambuc circuit in France. Unsurprisingly, it garnered a huge level of attention.

Spark’s 1:18 replica of this stunning machine is so tall (approximately 10cm in height) that the resin model manufacturer has had to supply it in a bespoke display case, as it wouldn’t have fit in the company’s standard unit!
