This is my largest painting so far, it’s 3 m x 2 m acrylic and oil pastels on canvas. My clients gave me free rein to paint an abstract for a staircase in interior of their chalet.
I wanted it to have a tapestry feel and chose to paint Chamois and alpine Ibex as they are native to this region of the Swiss Alps, hidden in the painting are names, dates, coordinates and rather than painting down the sides of the canvas I created a pattern using the names of the black and red runs they ski⛷️

So excited about this painting, it’s a biggie! My take on cave art using alpine Ibex and Chamois that live in Valais . Can’t wait to share it in a few days when it’s finished
