During lockdown I wanted to raise money for charity and decided to make facemasks with a view of raising £1000 for the Young Minds Trust. The masks very quickly took off and I was posting to all corners of the UK as well as abroad. I hit the target the day before my shop Decades of Stuff Haddington reopened and to this point had made around 500 masks. I decided to continue making facemasks for the
shop and have been totally blown away by the response, resulting in me having made 3000 masks to date. I like quirky fabrics and feel it's better to have a wide variety for customers to choose from. My fabrics change daily so theres always something new and sometimes there are one off pieces. When it comes to facemasks, one size definitely doesn't fit all. in the shop I offer adult large and medium size masks and child small, medium and large. There are no age categories as it's based on measurements not age, child masks can also be custom made for a comfortable fit. I don't believe in exploiting folk, my masks are £3 each, regardless of whether they are custom made or off the shelf, they have all been made by me! New fabrics will be shown on here for pre orders before being made for the shop, I will do my best to keep the available fabrics updated. I am happy to post at cost of postage (1st signed for)
