Our Christmas order from Noel Tatt has arrived, and we may have got a little carried away! 🤣🎅

We've got boxes full of beautiful boxed Christmas cards and some absolutely amazing Christmas cards that we can't wait to show you! 🎄✨

Now comes the fun part… finding somewhere to put it all! 😂📦 Because apparently, we thought ordering it was the easy bit!

💌 Our first Noel Tatt order has arrived! 💌

Our first order from Noel Tatt has arrived at Something Simple Cards & Gifts! 📦🥰

There was SO much choice when I was looking through their ranges that narrowing it down was honestly quite difficult! 😂

With Christmas stock to get in as well, I couldn't place quite as big an order as I would have liked this time around, but I still managed to choose 38 brand-new birthday card designs for the stall! 🎂💗

This order is all general birthday cards, including open cards and cards for friends, so there's plenty of new choice without going completely overboard… for now! 😂

And of course, I've done another little unboxing video for you! 📦👀

I think this one is an improvement on my last unboxing attempt… 😂🙈

But I'll let you be the judge of that!

There are still loads more designs I'd love to bring in from Noel Tatt, so this definitely won't be the last order. 👀💌

Sometimes it’s the little things that can make someone smile. 🥰

Our Happiness Boxes are little boxes filled with thoughtful reminders for when someone needs a little pick-me-up. 💕

Inside each box you’ll find:

🎄📦 Our first Keel Toys unboxing! 📦🎄

Well… it turns out I’m not very good at unboxing videos. 😂

I got far too excited to see what was actually in the box and completely forgot I was supposed to be filming a nice, sensible unboxing! 🤦‍♀️😂

But here’s a little peek at some of the Christmas goodies that have arrived in our very first Keel Toys order:

Our very first order from Keel Toys has been delivered today! 📦😍

We’re starting off small while we see how they go, but we’ve got a few lovely things arriving on the stall, including:

🧸 A couple of gorgeous teddies

We’re really excited to be adding something a little different to Something Simple Cards & Gifts, and we think they’ll fit in perfectly alongside our cards, gifts and other little bits and pieces. 💗

💌 Hi, I’m Rachel! 💌

If you’re new around here, I thought I’d properly introduce myself. I’m one of the people behind Something Simple Cards & Gifts. ✨

Although you might think Something Simple is a new business, it actually started way back in 2014 as the name of my cake business! 🎂

We'd been at Central Market Hall in Cradley Heath with our other business, Fragrant Whispers, since the end of October 2024. While we were there, we kept having people come into the market asking if anyone sold greetings cards.

There wasn't anyone currently selling them on the market, so after hearing the same question over and over, we decided… why not us? 🤷‍♀️

So in March 2025, we changed stalls and started selling cards — and Something Simple Cards & Gifts was born! 💌

We actually kept Something Simple as our company name from the original cake business and now simply trade under different names — Fragrant Whispers for our fragrance, bath & body products and Something Simple Cards & Gifts for our cards and gifts.

We're now stocking cards for pretty much every occasion, along with balloons, banners, badges, wrapping paper and other little bits and pieces for celebrations. 🎈🎁

I love that both sides of the business have grown from listening to what people actually want. Someone asks, “Does anyone sell…?” and apparently our answer is eventually, “Give us a minute…” 😂
