Shortly after Blackdog Antiques moved to the beautiful old medieval Market Place in Halesworth they were approached by the Halesworth & Blyth Partnership and asked if they would consider setting up an Antiques Market in the Old Print Works which is in the centre of town and run by the charity. The result was the Halesworth Brocante a monthly antique and vintage market, which has grown and become a popular event attracting visitors from around the region. Following on from the success of the Brocante it was agreed that it would be good to add to the weekly Wednesday market by organising some large themed markets to really bring the Market Place alive again as it was in years gone by. Blackdog Events was born. Four regular themed Markets now take place each year. Starting in Spring with the Garden Market, followed by the Midsummer Market then the September Food & Drink Market and lastly the Traditional Christmas Food, Drink & Artisan Market.
