Shortly after Blackdog Antiques moved to the beautiful old medieval Market Place in Halesworth they were approached by the Halesworth & Blyth Partnership and asked if they would consider setting up an Antiques Market in the Old Print Works which is in the centre of town and run by the charity. The result was the Halesworth Brocante a monthly antique and vintage market, which has grown and become

a popular event attracting visitors from around the region. Following on from the success of the Brocante it was agreed that it would be good to add to the weekly Wednesday market by organising some large themed markets to really bring the Market Place alive again as it was in years gone by. Blackdog Events was born. Four regular themed Markets now take place each year. Starting in Spring with the Garden Market, followed by the Midsummer Market then the September Food & Drink Market and lastly the Traditional Christmas Food, Drink & Artisan Market.

What a fabulous day we had yesterday at the Bungay Antiques Fair! With over 60 dealers on the Meadow and record breaking crowds through the gate there was no time to take pictures so this is one taken at our Spring Brocante at Dunston Hall which seems appropriate as that is where we will be for our next Brocante on the 9th August. Back to yesterday, massive thanks to our traders and to all those who visited us we couldn’t do it without you and hope you can join us again in three weeks time at Dunston Hall.

We have 62 fabulous traders booked in for tomorrow’s fair and we hope to see you there. Please remember no dogs 🐕allowed at this venue but given how warm it is we’re sure they would rather stay at home. Open 9:00 - 3:00, Admission £3 per person (under 14 free).
