What a wonderful evening Abbie Clements last night! 📚 We had such a fantastic time hosting our author event, and it was a total sell-out!

If you missed out, don’t fret - we’ll have more copies back in stock this Monday. Honestly, it’s such a good read; you’ll definitely want to come and get your copy!

It was an absolute pleasure listening to Anne .keer share the inspiration behind and the extensive research that went into it. You can truly feel that depth when you’re reading. Good to think about how important it is for all of us to find our place in the wild.

A little more reading time before our event this evening with .keer I won’t have finish this book before I get to meet Anne this evening, but what a wonderful story and an interesting idea - exploring the concept between nature and enclosure with rural communities being uprooted as land is transformed. Set in the 18th century during the pre-industrial period of England, specifically around the time of Enlightenment. This historical backdrop being significant as it reflects the tensions between emerging industrialisation and traditional rural life…. A must read this summer.
