I have been a professional Chainsaw carver for many years, as a side line i started milling timber, being different to large sawmills we can cater for the small orders and big orders. All timber is air dried first then some will be kiln dried to reduce the moisture level further. we have a variety of timber cut for different purposes, DIY, crafts, Wood turning, hobbyists, home improvements and so

on. Most of the timber is available for sale on eBay there will be some on Facebook too. please visit Ebay, look for treecycler77 and have a look at whats available. you never know you might find that piece you have been looking for.

Part two of the massive London plane tree in Suffolk.

Rain didn’t stop play!
With a JCB and 120cc chainsaw, with a team of people, we managed to move this tree!
Each short section weighing in at a potential 3 tonne.

We planed ahead and had already sunk the 4ft chainsaw bar down the length of the trunk, once rolled we could cut through to the other side.
Eventually the tele-handler could lift a section.

This tree is a true specimen, we’re so glad our friend gave us a call to salvage this part of Suffolk’s history.

Once this has been milled correctly it’s going to produce some spectacular knot free timber.
