Today is Gift Aid Awareness Day, and we’re encouraging everyone who is eligible to Gift Aid their donations to make sure they tick the box and complete the Gift Aid declaration when donating to our shops.

If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you.

Last year, Gift Aid generated an incredible £192,758 for Overgate Hospice – that’s 36% of all donations made to our shops!

So, whether you’re donating a bag of clothes, a box of books or something you’ve had tucked away at home, please tick the box and make your donation go even further.

Thank you for helping us make every donation count.

Thank you. 💚

For the past two years, our community has come together to support our Big Build Appeal, and our charity shops have been proud to be part of that journey.
Every donation made to our shops, every purchase, every Gift Aid sign-up and every visit has helped support the work of Overgate and bring our new Inpatient Unit to life.

Today, our patients and their families are beginning to experience the care and facilities that so many people have helped make possible.

We couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you for supporting our shops. Thank you for supporting Overgate. And thank you for helping us build the future of hospice care.
