🚧 Market Arcade entrance closure.

From today, 1 September, the Market Arcade entrance will be temporarily closed for 6 weeks. This is so we can install modern, fully glazed automatic doors to make access easier for everyone as part of the Halifax Future High Streets project.

The market and all businesses in the arcade remain open as usual and we look forward to welcoming you.

Please use other entrances on Market Street and Southgate while works are underway.

Congratulations and good luck to Mary from The2107Kitchen. She's taking part in the NMTF Young Traders Market final in Stratford-upon-Avon this weekend.

She's been wowing Halifax with her Nigerian cuisine this year, popping up in Albany Arcade every few weeks. She entered the local heat of the competition in the Borough Market in July, got through to the regional final in Barnsley & District Markets at the start of August, and was selected to appear at the final.

Join us in wishing Mary the very best of luck this weekend. We're all behind you!

The alpine raclette cheese stall is the latest venture from James Thompson who ran Pride & Provenance, the award-winning, family-run restaurant.

James has been touring the county with his melted cheese and he's bringing it to The Albany Arcade with a range of brioche and baguette options
