Here at Halifax we are celebrating everything pride, here is our pride window,

If you see on of our staff or volunteers wearing a Rainbow Badge is a sign that I am someone you can talk to about LGBTQ+ identities. Whether you have questions, need support, or simply want a friendly, non-judgemental conversation, you're always welcome to chat.
We celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the right for everyone to be their authentic selves.

This month, and every month, we stand with and support our LGBTQ+ community.

So you, or someone you know, needs our palliative or end-of-life care – what are the next steps?

The first thing you should know is that our hospices and care options aren’t just end-of-life – our teams can provide medical support to help people with life-limiting conditions like cancer, heart failure and lung disease. We want to give people the best possible quality of life and can help manage pain and other symptoms over the weeks, months, or years someone is living with a life-limiting condition.

We can also provide care in people’s homes, offer day services, and provide inpatient options, offering emotional support and help for physical needs.

You can refer yourself or may be referred by your family or a healthcare professional. Your GP or hospital consultant will be contacted before a referral is accepted.

🌸🐒 We’ve had a little shop shuffle… and gone a bit WILD! 🐒🌸
Our store has had a fresh move-around to make room for all our gorgeous spring & summer stock – think bright colours, lighter layers, and plenty of bargains waiting to be discovered! ☀️👗
We’re also adding new items daily, so there’s always something new to spot every time you pop in. You could say things are getting a little “go ape” in here… and our cheeky monkeys seem to agree! 🐵💛

👕 Men’s Section Refresh 👖

Today marks my final day at Sue Ryder Halifax 💙
I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey here – our amazing staff, dedicated volunteers, and all of our wonderful customers.
Your support, kindness, and hard work have meant so much, and it’s been a real privilege to be part of such a fantastic team and community. I’ve made some great memories that I’ll genuinely carry with me.
Although I’m moving on to the Sowerby Bridge store, Halifax will always hold a special place for me. Please keep supporting the shop – it truly makes a difference.
