Fishing Tackle based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. First established in 1900 A.J. Jewson is one of Halifax's oldest shops.

Recently under new ownership, Jewsons stock a wide range of air rifles and pistols as well as shotguns, cartridges and ammunition. We also supply fishing tackle with a range of course and game fishing. Our fishing bait is continuously growing to suit our customer needs. We have high quality country clothing from Sherwood Forest, Jack Pyke and many more. Wellington boots are also available for both

men and women with a wide variety of muck boots. We also buy and sell second hand fishing tackle and guns. Advice is always available for your shooting and fishing requirements.

Like pretty much all of Halifax they’ve decided to dig up west parade the road to the shop now also ! Please follow the diversions they will eventually get you there. Sorry about this and unfortunately it’s out of our control.

As many people know we are a small family business with just the two of us and some very good friends that help us out along the way,
Our little family has grown this week and due to this we haven’t been able to answer messages etc and unfortunately our phone line has also been playing up which we haven’t been able to sort yet.
We have decided to keep the shop closed tomorrow (Thursday 20th November) but we will be back open Friday as normal.
