keep live music living. it seems my last comment about bands charging too much as fallen on deaf ears. so i will appeal to the landlords and maybe that will get bands and pubs working together instead of against each other, if bands and artists want too much. landlords should refuse to book them. or give them the amount that they think they are worth. over the last 12 months, around 20,000 pubs around the uk. had to close cos they could no longer afford the costs of opening.. the average pub, is paying out thousands of pounds every month just in overheads, and for some pubs the only way to keep it running is live music. or sport or both to put sky sport on in a pub cost up to 600 a month, pubs need supporting. not just by performers but by EVERYONE, LETS ALL WORK TOGETHER AND KEEP PUBS OPEN, AND LIVE MUSIC LIVING

3 weeks ago at my open mic night at the NEW RUSHCART, SOWERBY, i was approached by a 17 year old girl who asked if she could sing a few songs, obviously, it being an open mic night, , i said yes, best move i ever made, the audience was mesmerized, not a word was spoken during her performance, fist time singing to an audience, she nailed it, she is so good that the landlord has booked her. remember this name
