My first attempt at making a lavender wand, and probably my last as it was very fiddly and I quite clearly don’t understand the basic principles of weaving 😂😂.
It still does the job and smells divine 💜🤷‍♀️

We took 14 sheep, 8 bottles of home made country wine and one cabbage to HalifaxAgriculturalShow and the cabbage came out on top with 1st prize.
2nd prize for Dill wine
3rd prize for Carrot wine
Highly commended for Rhubarb wine and our own grape variety called Solaris.
Naff all with the sheep but it was great taking part with a huge turnout today at an absolutely fantastic show. Thanks to all those that came to support us
And finally….. I spotted a Schwitzer turbo on a vintage tractor that I possibly designed 30 years ago 🐌

Time to select the wines to enter HalifaxAgriculturalShow this weekend.
We have…….
Pea pod
Carrot
Tomato
Dill
Gooseberry
Calendula
Solaris grapes
Blackcurrant
Rhubarb
All produce is homegrown apart from the fancy tomatoes that were kindly donated by Claire Claire Adams 👏🏻👏🏻
They all taste pretty good to me 🥂🍷🥂🍷

Look at this little fella, just sat there, minding his own business and crossing all his legs! Pulling up carrots reminds me of old fashioned lucky dips. You just don’t know what you’re going to get. What I do know is that perfectly straight and proper carrots are actually pretty boring 😂🥕😂
