I had a lovely day making autumn arrangements at Watten hall with WHO - Watten Helps Out We were all treated to a brilliant tea halfway through and I’m home with some cakes (score!! 🍰)

There were two classes today and everyone did such a brilliant job of their arrangements using dried and artificial flowers and foliage.

I love autumn colours and adding some seasonal decor into your home is such a cosy way to change your space 🍁🍂

Thank you as well to my lovely assistant Orla today, it was great having an extra pair of hands at the workshops!

Well… it’s been a while! 👋🌿

I didn’t intend for so long between posts but I think I needed the break.

Over the last few weeks there have been bouquets delivered, lovely messages read, houseplants acquired (I may have a slight problem 🌿😂), ideas scribbled down faster than I can keep up with them, and a first proper holiday booked in what feels like forever.

There is so much that I’ve been working on that I can’t wait to share!

Autumn is one of my favourite seasons and there are weddings, workshops and cosy plans already filling the diary. I’m also spending some time thinking about what the future of Flaurals looks like, making sure it grows in a way that’s sustainable for the flowers, but for me too.

So, I hope you’ve also had a lovely summer 💚 I’m really glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.

Top up this afternoon because you lovely people have been asking about teacher gifts 🪴

So we have plant pals!

These crassula and sansevieria are great for the classroom or for home, and need very little to keep them happy. Plant parent level 1. Thrives on neglect. Perfect.

In the box we have:

Kai, Keira and Carly the crassula
Simon, Stella and Scott the sansevieria

I’ll pop some extras in as I get them wrapped up too, and you may notice I had “help” on account of the Paddington Bear stickers you might find on some of the plants. I would recommend removing these for optimum photosynthesis, but they are cute 😂

You can rename them, but naming them makes them part of the family, and in my experience allows you to buy more because nobody can possibly complain about Steve when he’s cleaning the air you breathe. 😉🪴

After a week of silence… I have resurfaced 🌿

I’ve spent the last week somewhere between florist, bridesmaid, arch builder, mum, friend, and sleep-deprived woman running entirely on vibes, determination and the belief that the weather was absolutely going to play ball because if thunderstorms are good for anything it’s clearing the skies ⛈️

If you know me then you’ll know that the best time for me to decide to build a bespoke wooden wedding arch from scratch is the week before my friend’s wedding… right?

There was very little sleep, a dose of stomach bug, a lot of problem solving, and one boy who insisted on taking Thomas and Percy down the aisle 😂

But absolutely worth every second! 🥂💐

A huge congratulations to the amazing Mr & Mrs Knight!! 🎉
Thank you for letting me be part of such a special day, both as your bridesmaid and as your florist. It was an absolute joy to stand beside you, and celebrate with you.

And a special mention to my ever enduring husband and our little cutie for being part of the madness too!

This one was wild, bold, true… and very personal.
