I was introduced to beading on a cruise ship to the Mediterranean. One of the organised activities whilst at sea was Jewellery Making and since then I have loved buying beads, making individual items and buying more beads! I began going to Craft Fairs and people were buying my bracelets and necklaces – an amazing feeling. Christmas was a busy time with lots of fairs, so in the New Year I wanted to
try something different. My daughter had been sent a beaded Christmas card and that started me thinking. I now make hand stitched greetings cards, some incorporating beading, and these have proved popular at recent fairs. As if that wasn’t enough to keep me busy, I am now making fabric notice boards made from high quality cotton in a number of attractive designs. A selection of items I have made appear on here on my page. Most jewellery pieces are individual but orders can be taken for similar items in your choice of colour, size etc. UPDATE 1.8.2022
Our range of handcrafted products has now increased to include rustic wooden items, felt brooches and clay decorations. As from 1.8.2022 the business name will become Handy Crafts to reflect these changes.
