Whilst I had access to one of the most stunning of locations in Southampton last weekend.
I thought id make the most of being able to take some photos of my work in one of its huge original archway windows on the second floor of God's House Tower.

Annie is a traditional woodturner, woodworker, and resin artist whose work is heavily inspired by nature.

Over time, she has moved towards using pieces of wood that might otherwise be discarded, combining them with resin and natural details to create art and bespoke gifts. Her work includes wooden and resin pieces, crystal-tipped wands, hand-carved runes, mushroom jewellery, and larger nature-inspired artwork.

What stands out is Annie’s love of reducing waste and making use of the unusual, gnarly, and overlooked pieces of wood.

Her stall is full of handmade character and natural inspiration.

This weekend I will be showing my work ABIT closer to home,than I normally get to.
Starting with ramalley Scout hall in chandlers ford
And then again in my home town of Southampton on Sunday.
Where you will be able to find me in the most stunning of locations, that is God's House Tower. For there summer art market

"The Humble Bumble"
Whilst I've got quite a few pieces I've finished and should of posted...I thought I'd start by showing you what I've already spent hours and hours on and will continue to make and finish, over the next few days.
As unfortunately it's not quite as easy as these AI videos show you.
Where you just put some flowers in a mold, and then just pour gallons of resin over them. Haha I wish it was that easy sometimes. But it's not, ive already spent over 5 hours getting this piece to this stage. And will be spending many more hours, arranging pieces and clearing the resin of anything that lifts and or moves.untill it sets enough to do yet another layer.

Anyway, the flowers have all come from my garden and hedgerows. Some I have press and some I dry in silicone so they keep their natural shape.
I also collect up any dead bugs and bits I find or am kindly given...Like this magnificent Humble Bumble Bea, that turned up on my birthday with in a little pot for me.🥰
Anyway I think he has found a good home, surrounded with my base layer of English wild flowers from garden.
That I will carrying adding to over the next day or so and show you the finished item once it's fully dried and out of the mold.
