YESSS! I did it! Thankfully H did come home 15 mins later and hold a baby so I could concentrate on the setting process and jarring up. The MOST crucial moment of marmalade making.

Although today at church one of the lovely ladies said I could organise with her to come and hold a baby while I make the final stages of Marmalade which is amazing.

Next job is to figure out how to courier 20lb of Marmalade for an order. Thankfully I have now ordered my proper packaging which will help.

New problem, can I boil, chop and jar oranges before the baby wakes up!?!
Last week I had my father staying who helped me to keep the kitchen running like a well oiled Machine. This week I am making a batch to prove to myself I can on my own.

I’m making a batch to top up my current stocks as I have an order for 20 lb of Marmalade! George knows to stock up when it’s in season! So figuring out couriering that is going to be interesting!!

I think sometimes giving people free reign is a good thing. This is Daddy Doyne’s personal batch and he is very happy with it!!! 🌟🌟

What a star he has been this week helping me kick start Marmalade for 2026. We made 6 batches together.

The Marmalade Mobile rain or shine we will deliver! Thankfully the post office was empty when we arrived but there was quite a queue by the time we finished…!

My Producer is so productive that I don’t have time to get my notes into the boxes before he has taped them up!!!

We are figuring out boxes today. I’ve parcelled up my first orders from last night. Thank you to everyone who slid into my DM’s asking for Marmalade. The invoice system I can confirm is working properly!

Next job is working out how to get them safely to the post office.

And they are back! So is Marmalade Mansion updates with Daddy Doyne the Producer… we are on Day 2 or 3 now 4 batches made and orders have started coming in!

We are aiming to make and sell 200 jars to relaunch Generosity Living with an actual commerce website so we can reach the big window world. Completely terrifying thought. But here goes.

The new Hob is a success!!! But t has halved production time! Yesterday we managed one batch of Marmalade today we completed three batches!!!
