Made today -Friday. 3 chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream and 9 vanilla sponge with jam filling and vanilla buttercream. 12 cupcakes for £15 Please let me know in the comments if you are interested. I know many of you miss my cakes since I took a break last year. I have made a coffee and walnut traybake today as a trial for possibly starting a weekly traybake offering. I am now gluten free, so need some help with taste testing and feedback on pricing and popular flavour options. If you want to pop down to the shop anytime between now and 4.30 today, Saturday, there is free tea and slice of cake for you! If you are able to join me, please confirm in the comments, as there is only one traybake to go round and when it's gone it's gone. Thanks, Jo x

I am always so pleased when the young people who enjoy a birthday party workshop with me create such beautifully decorated cupcakes, often as good as mine! Plus they often add their own individual design ideas . The cupcake photos are from the most recent birthday workshops. We are pleased to announce that we have raised £174 for Linden Hall Community Centre in Hampton Village. This includes the proceeds of our raffle with prizes donated from The Cake Box and from Jane and Nick @ Jolly Coopers. Also from the sale of Arts and Crafts entries after the competition on the Green last Sunday. Thank you to everyone involved in this fund raising event.

I hope you are all enjoying the weather! .Just to let you know that we are closing early today @ 2.30 pm (Thursday) as we are travelling to Wales for a family wedding.
