I am located in Hanley
It’s where I live and work. It’s where I choose to have my business. Hanley isn’t what it used to be but every SINGLE time a new business launches in Hanley, the only consistent commentary we see is “well I’m not going there because the area is a sh*thole”
How do people genuinely expect things to ever change if they refuse point blank to support businesses popping up.
I opened One Stop Whimsy to try and bring a little joy and magic into peoples days and the absolute barrage of negative comments on my social media is making me so downhearted about this.
If you don’t want to visit Hanley then DON’T. But don’t try to drag everyone else down to your miserable depths

Little throwback today:
This is a Pokemon nightlight dome I created for Alistair Bonsall a couple of years back. I pulled it together from scratch in just 24 hours and it was such a fun make! I really enjoyed painting the rock surfaces (and I usually HATE painting) and it was fun to see it come together on Tik Tok live as I built.
