Harborne Christmas Craft Market

As in previous years our popular and busy annual Christmas market is being held at Moorpool Hall in Harborne. The market is open over two days, 21-22 November, and invited sellers will be asked to choose either or both days.
We’ll be open 10am to 4pm.
Applications are invited from makers whose work is entirely or mostly handcrafted, including reproductions of your own original work.
We are particularly hoping to receive applications from makers working with ceramics, wood, metal, textiles and other 3d materials plus children’s wear and toys and adult wearables and accessories. (Sorry no food or drinks traders).

Over £8,000 raised for - what a result! Huge thanks to our dedicated and hardworking volunteers for making this event happen. And not forgetting the artists and makers who bring their creativity, good cheer and things of beauty to the party. And finally of course big thanks to our customers for turning out to support this event (for 13 years now!) - we appreciate your loyalty and generosity ❤️

It’s going to full on today as we prepare for our annual Christmas Market!
As you may now know we organise this event to raise money for . Featured here are just a few of the beautiful handmade crafts made and donated by trustees and friends to be sold in aid of the charity. We have loads more exciting and totally unique goodies on offer, so come along, browse and buy from our extensive display of lovely things and make a REAL difference to a young, disadvantaged person’s life in some of the poorest parts of South Africa.
Not to forget of course that we’re also providing a market place for another 35 fantastically talented independent designer/makers. Browse beautifully curated eye catching displays, chat to them about their inspiration and techniques and support handmade, local and independent retail!
Oh and finally - don’t miss the best charity cake sale in town- for 2 days only. Stuff yourselves silly in a good cause 🤪

This is our 12th year of hosting this popular and well supported event which always raises a phenomenal amount of money for the charity we support - . The event is organised by Trustees and Friends of the charity who give their time entirely free and also make some pretty amazing crafts and cakes for us to sell which boosts profits by a good chunk!
Our lovely band of makers (many of whom have returned for many years) contribute in two ways - the profits from their fees and by creating such a beautiful and welcoming space with their fabulous displays and big smiles! Our sellers’ feedback from the event is always so very positive and our customers love the feel good atmosphere.
This event truly is a successful collaboration of charitable intention and big hearted creatives.
So please make some time on the 22nd or 23rd November to come along and support us. If your Christmas fund is tight this year you will find a wealth of charming gifts at affordable prices and remember even just buying a slice of rather special delicious home baked cakes in our pop up cafe adds a couple of quid straight into our charity’s funds! Believe us you really are helping us make a difference 🙏❤️🙏

We’re back again for our 15th year of hosting this vibrant and busy Christmas Market in beautiful Moor Pool Hall in Harborne!
If you’re interested in hiring a space then please DM your email address and we’ll send details. Please note:
(1) We select only the most highly skilled artists and craftspeople with an emphasis on originality and quality, and we always ensure we cater for a wide range of customer tastes and pockets.
(2) In order to meet our criteria, the main component(s) of your product must be designed and made by you, with the exception of recycled materials. Reproductions of your original work as prints or on other products are welcome.
(3) We do not accept applications from food and drink makers.
We look forward to hearing from you by the CLOSING DATE OF 1ST APRIL.

Our brilliant bunch of artists and makers can’t wait to greet you from 10am tomorrow (Saturday 23rd) and of course from 10am on Sunday too! In addition to hosting a great weekend of shopping, (and delicious home baked cake eating!), we’re all supporting . Everyone who shows up, sellers and customers alike, are making a contribution to this terrific charity which helps to improve the lives and opportunities of disadvantaged South African children and young people. All of our trustees, volunteers and supporters give their time free with every penny raised going straight to the charity! If the sun doesn’t shine we don’t care because we’re basking in the glow of ♥️!
