A much needed couple of hours in the garden after work yesterday

I've been trying to find the time to get outside but sometimes life gets in the way!

A pot shuffle in the container garden was a must, a tidy up of the pots, a little cut back to neaten things up, brushed the decking & a water. Its not perfect but so much better.

I'm loving the greens 💚 theres not much colour left in the garden just a few little pops of purple & pink. I've been waiting for my dahlia to flower not long now 💜

A style of floral tribute to look like a gathered hand tied bouquet that lays flat. Using a hidden water source, I used floral foam in this arrangement.

~ Funeral Sheaf ~

A natural loose style arrangement, made without a water source no floral foam. Can be tied with raffia or ribbon. The stems are left bare.

Creating a base with moss or straw then layering mixed foliages all the way round.

I love to create all kinds of wreaths, whatever the season.

A mix of evergreen foliages is beautiful just on its own, adding lots of texture & movement.

Or adding flowers & other materials, cones & trailing ribbons for a colour pop the choice is endless.

Welcome guests, a wreath brings joy & warmth as you enter your home.

It's also the perfect remembrance tribute. The wreath with no beginning or end signifying eternal life, unending love can be comforting during times of loss.

These are on the windowsil until they start popping through

Will keep an eye on these outside now

The Hibiscus I bought in the sale for a £1 is looking good, fresh green leaves in just a few weeks!

And my beautiful White Thalictrum it did amazing last year, a cloud like explosion of tiny white flowers with lacy green foliage.
Thought I'd lost it in the heatwave but its back look at that lush new growth!

A must for the border or container garden, showy & adds height this perenial will keep coming back!

Summer may have gone but Autumn is the best time to sow, rejig your borders, divide those perenials, extend your borders, plan for Spring & Summer next year!

Get your notebooks out draw up a plan write those wishlists it doesn't have to be expensive! Exciting times!
