Apparently it’s international cat day, so an excuse to put some freeloaders on the grid 🐱🐾🌸🌿

As you can see, they’re very interested in being employees which is the reason lilies (and other toxic flowers) aren’t offered in florist choice bouquets.

Fox, in particular, takes his role of floristry cat very seriously. See last two photos of him playing in what was a pile of swept leaves, then having a hydration break after being a gremlin.

I am SO not ready for these colours to come back into season.

Yes, 30+ degrees is too hot
Yes, we wouldn’t have coped without our lovely neighbours loaning us their air con unit in wedding season
Yes, everyone’s looking forward to cooler weather and crunchy leaves

But not me 🫣

Can we extend summer for another few months please and thank you

As much as I’m campaigning for summer to stay forever, I do love an autumn wreath and they’re available to preorder for September 🍂

A florist’s dream ☁️😍

Carly’s inspiration photo was a traditional, rounded bouquet with roses, peonies and eucalyptus. I added some delicate filler flowers for extra movement and texture, still keeping the bouquet very soft and classic.

This has to be one of my favourite bridal bouquets, of course as it’s pink, but also includes sweet avalanche roses and the most gorgeous peonies - two of my favourite flowers ever.

At this point, he’s basically the face of the business. As he’s too photogenic to argue with, here he is again making the grid.

Not one, not two, but 27 wrist corsages completed in one day for an event at Manor Groves 🌿

These small designs are one of the most time consuming pieces to make. Many hours, lots of patience and a few too many coffees later, this beautiful box was ready for delivery, but all so worth it to see how happy the lovely ladies were with them 🤍

As peony season draws to a close, I’ve been using them at every opportunity 🌿

This variety smelt absolutely incredible and I didn’t want to part with this bouquet 😂

Due to the extreme heat, peony season has ended a couple of weeks earlier than usual so it’s unlikely I’ll have more available. The past two weeks have been back to back, which always happens when we have hot weather! Lots of things still to share as posting has taken a backseat, but with a few cooler evenings ahead I’ll have some time to concentrate on social media. When it’s 35 degrees and the house if full of flowers that we’re desperately trying to keep alive, I can’t string a sentence together for Instagram posts 🤣

Fox has now started a theme of appearing in my photos so it seems you’ll see more of him soon 😻
