Sundays are no more quiet than the rest of the week here at Geek Retreat. We host our Warhammer players upstairs for games of Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, The Old World, Kill Team and more. 12pm until close, the upstairs is their battleground.
We also host our weekly nexus nights for Riftbound. The League of Legends card game exploded onto the scene last year and our community are loving every set. Our weekly event is always well attended and showcases this unique card game as best we can! 1pm, £7 entry.

Saturdays are Pokemon-central here at Geek Retreat Harrogate.
Our kids trade-and-play club starts at open, 10am, allowing folks to trade cards, test decks and talk pokemon as much as they wish.
At 12pm, we have our pokemon locals, for those seeking to put their deck to the test and earn league packs.
In the evening we have our low-stress One Piece event, perfect for newer players or new decks, entry is £2 and starting at 6:45pm.
We also have our second Gundam Locals at 6:30pm. No less competitive than our Thursday session but a lot of fun nonetheless

Fridays are MTG focussed. We host one of our 60-card events every Friday, rotating between Pauper and Pioneer each week.Eentry is any MTG pack in our shop +£2, and there are promos and prizing at the end of each event, starting at 6:30.
We also host a cEDH league, it runs for 6 weeks with a 3 week break in between each session, and players earn prizes on the night as well as big prizes at the end of the six weeks. Eentry is any MTG pack in our shop +£2, starting at 6:45.

Thursdays are a fantastic night for our customers, our usual casual play gives way to the local H&RD wargaming group upstairs, as they bring all sorts of historical and non-historical miniature games and spend their evening invading the beaches of Normandy, or starting a shootout in the old west, or even venturing into a wrecked starship searching for alien life. They are incredibly welcoming to all newcomers and offer participation and learning games most weeks.
Downstairs, we host our Gundam Card Game Locals, this incredible card game was only recently released and is already accruing a dedicated player base here. If you're an anime fan, the card game does a great job of capturing the colossal mech fights.

Wednesdays are one of our busiest nights of the week! Our usual casual play during the day leads into Hosting our One Piece TCG Locals. This card game has only grown in popularity since its release and our locals are hotly contested each week.
Yu-Gi-Oh is one of the longest running card games and Wednesdays sees us hold our weekly locals event. Our devoted regulars always enjoy themselves on a Wednesday and are welcoming to all players.

Tuesdays get the imagination running here at Geek Retreat Harrogate. Casual play runs all day and then, in the evening, we have three great events. Disney Lorcana is regaining popularity and Tuesday nights are game night! test decks, swap rares and show off your favourite characters. 6:30pm, £7 entry.
We also have the immensely popular One Piece card game: Pirates Party. These are different ways to play One Piece and great for newer players. 6:45pm, £7 entry.
And finally we have our Dungeons and Dragons one-shot night! Perfect for new players, experienced players looking for something different or old hands wanting to try new characters and rules, our Tuesday evening is an 18+ session, 6:30pm-9:30pm entry starting at £4.

Mondays is a busy one for us! With Casual play from open we head into our Casual Magic: The Gathering evening, bring any deck any format and play and chat with others, from as little as £2 entry. Official start is 6pm but there's plenty of folks in early most nights. We also have Rifbound, the League of Legends card game, playing on a Monday. Free entry and perfect if you're just learning and wanting to play the game in a low-stress environment.
