Sometimes after a trade show, you need some decompression time - and what better way than getting my much loved pencils out and doing something different. It’s not finished, and still quite ‘rough’ around the edges, but nice to get a little unwinding time.
PG Live feels like it was yesterday, and yet we set off last Saturday (almost a week ago!). I can’t believe how time flies. Thinking I might do a little pencil drawing range, let me know what you think in the comments.

Another year of PG is all over! We had a great time - it was great catching up with existing stockists and all our new ones!! Thank you so much for placing orders with us! We are looking forward to being in your lovely shops! Today is a zoning out day. Feeling totally exhausted - but it was worth it! Now to start planning for with just 6 weeks to go!!

So, the day started battling hoards of Arsenal supporters to get our shelves into the building. It was pretty surreal being surrounded by thousands upon thousands of arsenal fans whilst setting up!
But this is the first ever time we have set up in one day. Feeling absolutely elated!!! And I think it looks ok too! Roll on Tuesday for the first day of PG live!

I’ve been quiet on here recently - we are moving, so currently living around the mayhem of doing all the things…

I’ve had an influx of new followers, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to reintroduce myself! I’m Jo, creator and owner of Lovely Paper Stuff. I’ve been on this journey for approximately 2 years now, so still fairly new to the game! I originally come from a graphic design background - but always been artistic. I’ve had my art on the cover of professional industry magazines and written various published tutorials on creating photo realism and I’m also a keen painter. I’m currently working on a very exciting and very different range to what you see today. Still with a variety of colour (as that’s important to my brand), but very different… I can’t say too much more, but I’m so, so excited about it!! Watch this space!!

This is me pictured with my hubby (he’s not a captain, but it makes him feel important) 😂 but I wouldn’t be complete in introducing myself if I didn’t introduce him too. He’s basically the backbone of my business. He’s helped in every way possible - he even wrote software for my business just so that at trade shows he could go to lunch! (I’m dyslexic with maths and so taking a 10% trade show discount price off would tie me into knots and give me major panic attacks!!!!). He has now diversified away from just my business to taking on new publishers to grow his business management software ( )Honestly, he’s more of the business than I am! I just make silly jokes and puns and scribble a few characters.

So that’s us. Jo & Dave. We met at school (aged 13), we’ve been married 22 years (we got married young, I’m not THAT old, really) and we have three kids together!
