Good evening folks! Just finished a big shift at the mill and I’ve really made a breakthrough today!

The response was massive to getting our British wool mills seen so people can know who we all are and get our mills out there to the people!! Look back on recent reels and posts to understand the situation if this is new.

Now to channel traffic and to get this thing moving I had to very quickly think on my feet and test which channels took more time and which simple actions were fast response! I asked myself how can I really get stuff out there to many people by just clicking share!

I’VE GOT IT!!!

You will now see all the action straight away now on Great British Woollen Mills and now the knitwear retailers on Great British Knitwear! For now myself and my content volunteers are going to share all different content onto those groups! Please join the groups and say hi!

The list of mills is almost complete but I’m going to spend a bit more on it!

BUT FOR NOW enjoy all the amazing action on those groups and keep checking back here to central HQ for further developments. Also……

PUBLIC ACTION FOR TONIGHT. LOVE, COMMENT and share the action from the groups and click through to the mills and retailers to see more

It’s Wool and Waste Wednesday today which is where we go through and showcase all our raw stocks so that we can supply the range of craft areas.

Real wool jumpers are gorgeous but only a few British breeds are truly direct to skin wearable and only the best of the best grades make it through so they take a lovely little section.

What about all the other 70 U.K. soil breeds and grades from our U.K. wool crop? Did you know that there are many professional craft sections and hobbies too who use U.K. wool?

Needle felters, Viking rug makers, peg loom rug makers, equestrian saddlers, furniture upcyclers, hand spinners, gardeners

People who have insulation projects buy up our waste! There are three grades of waste.

When setting up Benridge Woolworks I designed a system that connected the processing bottom to the top because often the mechanical primary processing is needed to do that. I also identified that people wanted to learn and know about the full range of breeds that they could use and try. I offer this at raw, washed and dried and carded processing stages and have full breed descriptions on the website.

It’s a jet black Hebridean kind of day today as a trending product! Game of Thrones style locks! Hebridean is the only fleece which has long slender jet black locks like this. Icelandic comes close! Lots of loose and whole fleece Viking style rug sales this week.

A quick list here if you like and full website link in the comments so you can have a browse

* Breed study sample packs so you can get to know the breeds and sets of craft specific recommended ones too

* 75 loose style breeds offered at raw but graded, skirted stage of processing

* A range of raw Viking style matted fleeces for rug making across the best breeds for the job

* 75 washed and dried breeds offered (processed especially to order within 14 day delivery)

* 75 carded breeds processed especially to order within 14 day delivery

Recently been mostly going on 7-10 day turnaround times going great!

* Waste wool in raw, washed of carded form for insulation and gardening

* Pre carded Jacob, Zwartbles and Texel wool always because equestrian saddlery is a very busy market looking after horse welfare and we have the best product on the market

That’s it in a nutshell 😊🌅🇬🇧🐑❤️

When Jacquard meets U.K. wool it creates at least 4,000 options.

Stocking every breed on U.K. soil and combining that with the full Jacquard acid dye range brings about limitless options to get texture and colour right in all British wool craft.

The perfect image is created when the texture and colour is perfect. ❤️🐑🇬🇧
