Whale workshop- Saturday 10th October
With this workshop you create your own majestic whale.

Note: there is only one session. Xx thank you for bearing with me.

Ceramic majestic whales Workshop
Create Your Own ceramic whale.

📍 Location: Sea View Pottery, 18 Church St, Hartlepool
🎟️ Price: £20 to sculpt (includes materials + kiln firing)sculpting session only - glaze sessions are booked separately.

What You’ll Do:
Learn the basics of hand-building ceramics.

Shape your own whale.

After it's been bisque-fired(Aprox. 3weeks) you can either pick it up to paint at home or come back for a second session to glaze them. (An additional session cost)
Take home a one-of-a-kind ceramic decoration.
Perfect for:
🧙‍♀️ Beginners & experienced potters
🧑‍🎨 Families, friends, couples, or solo artists all are welcome in the studio. 😁

Hi all, I still have a places left for the Owls workshop this Saturday coming. If you’d like to make one or have things you would like to glaze, feel free to book on. 😁

Owl workshop- Saturday 3rd October
With this workshop you create your own cute owl. When creating the wings, you can choose one of 3 techniques: sgraffito (putting underglaze on and scraping off a pattern), carving into the clay or using cutters to add leaves.

Hello my friends, a little bit of market research. Since being poorly, I’ve realised the importance of having something to do when you are house bound.
I’m considering making up some play with clay at home packs.

So questions:
1 : Would step by step instructions be enough or would QR codes to videos be preferable?
2: Would getting it back to the studio for firing be a problem?
3: Would, ready fired, paint (not glaze) at home items be fun?
4: Would people just like to follow their own imagination and the set just include materials and tools bring it back to be fired?

Sorry for all the questions. It would be great if as many of you as possible could respond. Your opinion matters to me. 😁

Whist I’ve been poorly, my hands have become weak. Not strong enough to play with clay. 🫪 so to get my creativity out and to try and keep some dexterity, I’ve been playing with needle felting. When I’m back in the studio, these will be for sale.😁

Hello my Lovelies!
Just an update. 😊
I’m excited to say, I’m hoping to be back in the studio in September. Chemo has gone very well 😁 and I am on the road to recovery!

Hello my lovelies, just an up date regarding the studio. At the moment, it will remain closed for a while. I have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. So whilst a battle, this the studio will be closed.
Thank you for all your support. I’ll be back once I kick its butt. 😊
