Sorry for the clickbait image, it's the only way I can make sure the right people read this....
We're changing the way we do Pokemon Preorders starting with the 30th Anniversary.
This means that we're going to cancel all the existing preorders. We're doing this because our existing system of taking messages off multiple different platforms doesn't work when we take 70+ preorders per item and mistakes happen.
Instead, all Pokemon expressions of interest will be taken via an online survey, which you can access through a QR code in the shop.
I know, I know - if you've already preordered your 30th Anniversary* pokemon this is a minor inconvenience because you have to come into the shop and preorder again. If you're really angry because it's a major inconvenience, and you had no intention of coming into our shop at any point in the next 4 weeks, you've kind of got to wonder how committed you are to the Gamers lifestyle and whether you really deserve our Pokemon...
You do not need to rush. It is NOT first-come first-served.
Any future preorders for pokemon are the same - they'll be cancelled, and we'll advertise them once we know our allocations, usually about 4 weeks before launch.
*One small caveat - UPC preorders will still stand, because we have so few coming, it's pretty easy to keep on top of.
