H.D. Masonry offers a professional and reliable stone masonry service within the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and surrounding areas.

The business was established in 2012 by Danny Hanby and is based in rural Hartpury. After gaining his qualifications at the City of Bath College Danny went on to build up ten years experience as a stonemason attaining valuable skills and developing his own sympathetic style while working with regional and non-regional stone throughout the country. Since starting H.D. Masonry Danny has worked on ma

ny stonemasonry projects including new builds, restoration, renovation and repair of listed and non-listed historic buildings, creating bespoke fireplace surrounds, architectural stonemasonry, mullion windows and door surrounds to customers specifications and design. His craftsmanship is carried out to the highest standard with precise attention to detail and is sensitive to surrounding features, materials and his customer‘s needs.

So we have been super busy both in the workshop and on site to finish this project on a beautiful period property in Cheltenham. Forest Sandstone steps and intricate Cotswold stone balustrades. Danny Hanby good job! 😊

So its been super busy for H.D. Masonry these last few months, we had a fantastic commission for 25 single, two and three light Cotswold Stone mullion window and door surrounds which are now in the process of being fitted up in the Cotswolds, we were also privileged to be chosen to restore a local War Memorial which was completed and officially opened in time for Remembrance Sunday, here's thinking of those fallen for us ..... xx
