Another memorial piece finished and out the mold.

The first layer is crystal clear with a sprinkling of white mylar flakes to give a slight opal effect, the 2nd layer/middle layer has a Newcastle united football club crest with some flowers off of a flower arrangement for my customers Grandad with a few gold flakes and the 3rd/final layer was crystal clear resin.

This now has to stand for 24-48 hours to ensure its nice and solid round the edges and can be buffed so there's no sharp edges. I used a total of about 1.75 litres of resin for this project.

Getting ready to make another dried flower memorial piece for a wonderful lady who's husbands grandad had recently passed away 😔

"Grandad" was a Newcastle supporter and so I hope I do this one some justice!

The finished memorial piece I made using dried flowers from a bunch brought for my mum from my dear friend Heffz. A litre and a half of resin was used to do this. Layer 1 is a pearlescent white with a few drips of white alcohol ink in the resin and the remaining layers are crystal clear resin, some dried baby's whisper and dried leaves which were kindly donated from Buds florist shop in Dovercourt, some dried mini pastel pink and pastel yellow flowers with just a pinch of gold flake.

Heather I miss you so much, my heart is hurting so much. My dearest and oldest friend, you will NEVER be forgotten ❤️

Another memorial piece. This time a lock of hair from my late brothers final hair cut. Set in a pebble shaped pendant with a sprinkle of silver glitter and a few tiny dried flowers. Not a memorial piece but more a "memory piece". An unrequired engagement ring, with a dark blue cubic zirconia style stone that WAS in the middle of this ring and was removed (and thrown as far as it could be thrown lol) and then replaced with a handmade uv resin gem to fit the bezel precisely that was filled with mylar flakes to give an opal effect and sand, YES SAND, from Shanklin beach front on the Isle of Wight. It might not be to everyone's taste but something positive and happy had to come from something that maybe wasn't so positive and happy. So henceforth "A memory piece"
