We will provide you with prompts to play, brain-building ideas and information about the skills we are working on in

Autumn Sensory Small World 🍂 🎃
Ok, so it’s a bit of a belated post but we loved this small world for our Halloween party. Lentils and acrylic leaves were the perfect sensory base for scooping, pouring, measuring and hiding our skeletons. Our mini pumpkin patch was based on sodium bicarbonate and black food colouring soil (just add water to make it mouldable and dig-able). S played for hours role playing with our playmobil people at the pumpkin patch and carting them in their wheelbarrow to the ‘Haunted House’ ❤️
None of these materials were expensive- the skeletons and pumpkins were from Poundland and the house is just an old M&S biscuit tin! Nonetheless it was a huge hit with all the little people who came to our party 🎉

Number Match Toy Tombola! Because who doesn’t love winning all their own stuff back multiple times?! 😂 According to my two, it’s about as exciting as getting something new and (big plus) this has helped their number recognition no end. Super easy set up and totally transportable game you can use over and over again 🎟

Abracadabra, just like that it’s almost Halloween (how?!). My girl just loved making these pretty stick wands in preparation.

This was super easy to prep: we collected sticks and flowers on our morning walk. Then I dug out pipe cleaners, acrylic markers, glitter and washi tape and let her loose. I just love watching little ones get creative 💗
