Five Dollar Shake - Handmade Greetings Cards Multi-award winning, Sussex based, Handmade Greeting Card Publisher. Welcome to Five Dollar Shake - Award winning luxury Greeting Cards and Stationery.

Each Five Dollar Shake design is uniquely made in it's entirety in the UK. We are immensely proud of our mini 'army' of trained Sussex based staff. Many of whom painstakingly make up each card by hand with extreme dexterity and skill. Each crystal stone, sequin, bow, trinket ~ in fact, all our wonderful components that go to make up each design are carefully sourced from around the world. Every product on these pages are made from card from sustainable and renewable forests and each envelope is F.S.C www.fsc.org approved. Hopefully this little slice of cyberspace will give you some idea of what we are trying to do! Our aim is to excite you, in the hope that your customers will come back for more award winning Five Dollar Shake stationery, again and again. Please remember the majority of our designs are 3D therefore the images on this site have been taken from the cards themselves ~ and are even more beautiful up close!

When my stepdad passed from Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease 18 months ago instead of having a conventional funeral we took the money and had a Guide Dogs puppy named after him, Jaggy. Jaggy is now in training and will go on to be a guide dog or a buddy dog.

My stepdad also suffered with Macular Degeneration slowly losing his sight and so we really understand the incredible work that Guide Dogs do.

So I drew this little fellow above with a lot of love in my heart. I hope you think he’s as cute as we do. From our new collection available now.

Just like Dolly, I’ve always been fascinated and in love with butterflies. They have been prolific in our designs over the years and I’ve even dedicate whole ranges to them. Their transformation, beauty, fragility and strength.

As a little girl I used to catch them and I even made a house for them with furniture and chandeliers. My dad tried to explain before I would go to bed at night that butterflies were not meant to live in a cardboard box house and that they would die if I didn’t let them go. I loved them so much that I didn’t want to believe him and I wouldn’t let them go so he would set them free every night once I asleep.

So in honour of Dolly and my wise old dad here is a little bit of my artwork, a butterfly dress, from our new collection launching next week, The Garden Party.

We can’t wait to share it with you and in the meantime beauts just remember “you can’t talk butterfly language with caterpillar people” ✨🦋❤️
