As if Copper Pot Gin wasn’t already tempting enough, we’ve decided to make it £5-a-bottle-more-tempting. 😇
For a short time only, we’re knocking a whopping £5 OFF every full-size bottle of Copper Pot Gin.

🚨 THE END OF THE MONTH APPROACHETH… 🚨
And once again, down in the little pink shop, the ancient monthly ritual begins…
Will Miss Spoons make the rent? 😬
Will enough beautiful things find new homes before the clock strikes midnight?
Will the spuppys and spittens rally to the cause?
Will somebody suddenly realise they desperately need a spoon ring, a fairy, a spider called Derek AND an enchanted mirror?
Or will the Great Keeper of the Keys emerge from the shadows, keys jangling ominously, ledger in hand, looking for his bag of gold? 🔑💰
Nobody knows.
What we DO know is that Miss Spoons has checked the bank account, turned it upside down and shaken it vigorously. Sadly, no additional coinage fell out.
So if you've been meaning to pop in, buy that thing you've had your eye on, start Christmas shopping ridiculously early or simply rescue a small handmade creature from a life on a shelf…

It’s THURSDAY, the weather is fine and our little sun trap is calling! ☀️
Come and join us while there’s still some sunshine left, because she’s fading fast. Before we know it, the flip-flops will be swapped for Uggs, cute little dresses for scarves and big coats…
I have absolutely no idea what happens to the men. Flip-flops become boots? Cute shorts become trousers? Do men even have seasonal wardrobes, or do they just put a coat over whatever they were already wearing? 🤷‍♀️😂
ANYWAY…

We are absolutely delighted to welcome wonderful local children’s author and illustrator Ed Boxall to The Emporium of Beautiful Things for a very special storytelling and book signing.
Come and settle in for a story (grown-ups are allowed to listen too 👀), meet the man behind the books, have your favourite signed and perhaps discover a brand-new favourite to take home.
There will be stories.
There will be books.

Apologies to the 100s of people undoubtedly planning to pop through the Mews today, but the Little Pink Shop is keeping its doors firmly closed. 💗
Mrs Pots is off foraging for coinage, and Miss Spoons is… well… nowhere to be seen. 🥄
Let’s just hope no Grand Master Wizard has stolen her spoons and she’s gone haring off in pursuit. 🧙‍♂️✨
Rest assured, these sagas never last long.
The Little Pink Shop will return on Wednesday, where you can adopt a spitten or a spuppy, purchase an enchanted mirror, take home a midnight fairy, or discover some other entirely unnecessary but absolutely essential beautiful thing.
Until then, please remain calm.
Miss Spoons will return. Probably. 🥄🩷✨

Well, the weekend went P**F! 💨 and here we all are at Monday again.
The monotonous countdown to the next weekend has begun… five whole days in the never-ending cycle of work, sleep, wonder where your money went, repeat. 😂
But you could break the cycle.
Throw caution to the wind. Be spontaneous. Be reckless. Take an impromptu trip to the little pink shop of love and beautiful things. 💕✨
We have gorgeous locally made treasures, things you absolutely did not know you needed until you saw them, and quite possibly a spoon that has been given an entirely unnecessary new purpose.
Come and have a rummage.
