Our lovely Mrs Pots’s very own Prince of Hob Nobs has SOLD TWO PRINTS! 🎨🎉🎉

There is currently great excitement in the Emporium. Mrs Pots is beside herself, Miss Spoons is demanding some sort of ceremonial procession, and the Prince is presumably remaining terribly artistic and mysterious while quietly wondering whether this now makes him internationally renowned. 😂
We are genuinely SO chuffed. ❤️
There is something rather wonderful about seeing the work of the talented people around us being spotted, loved and taken home by someone new.
So a massive CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PRINCE OF HOB NOBS! 👑🎨

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday… whatever. TODAY is officially CAKE DAY and frankly that’s the only information anyone needs.
Come and join us for cake! 🎂
Because there are many difficult decisions to make in life, but “Shall we go and eat cake?” really shouldn’t be one of them. 😂

Exciting news from the mews. Not only is it Friday and for the part timers amongst you that means half day!! But tomorrow is SATURDAYAY (shout that bit) Greyskull Coffee Hastings bring you not only great coffee ☕️ Bacon 🥓 and glorious 🍰!!! Cake!!!🍰 But a market of glorious food and 🎂 cake 🧁 not keen on cake? What’s wrong with you? 😳B**r and Biltong got you covered with some B**r 🍺 and Trini Jam with fabulous Caribbean food and more B**r 🍻 Then as if that wasn’t enough, there’s the usual live music at 5pm. Oh dear, oh dear… what a to-do.
Mrs Pots has gone off on a quest in search of coinage, leaving Miss Spoons to hold the fort.
But, unknown to Mrs Pots, Miss Spoons is under a TERRIBLE SPELL. 😱
You see, Miss Spoons snuck up the Faraway Tree to the Land of Wind, hoping she might find some to put back in her sails.
And that's when disaster struck.
A Mixpixi appeared.
Naughty little things, Mixpixis. They're a hybrid of munchkins and pixies — and apparently, during the mixing process, only the naughty bits made the cut.
The little bu**er tricked her.
Instead of the Land of Wind, Miss Spoons found herself in the Land of Tears. 🌧️
It spins beneath an enormous black cloud, steals your sparkle and makes even the shiniest spoons look a little dull.
And poor Miss Spoons is quite under its spell.
Fortunately, after consulting the ancient Book of Spoonish Remedies, we've discovered there IS a cure:
🩷 3 hugs
✋ 5 high-fives
😁 and an absolutely ridiculous number of smiles from passers-by.
So if you happen to be passing the Little Pink Shop this Friday, pop your head through the door and say HI!
No purchase necessary.
Just bring a smile.
Because sometimes even Miss Spoons needs reminding that there's still a little bit of magic knocking about. 🩷🧚‍♀️🍄🥄✨

AND SO IT IS WEDNESDAY…
And we can see the weekend just turtling over the horizon, like it really should have gone before leaving home.
Meanwhile, down at the Mews, The Little Pink Shop is stuffed full of treasures, oddities, beautiful things and several items that nobody actually needs but absolutely should own.
🎄 Christmas is also preparing for its MASSIVE comeback.
Has been that it is.
Every bloody year.
Nobody knows how it keeps getting away with it.
And it’s not just us down here…
☕ There’s coffee. Essential.
🥓 There are bacon sandwiches. Also essential.
🍺 There’s B**r & Biltong for those who feel Wednesday has already asked quite enough of them.
🚲 There are bikes.
💻 There are computers.
🕷️ There are spiders called Jason.
And over at Valkaris Tattoo, should you suddenly decide that what your life has been missing is a massive festive chicken tattooed on your bum, I’m fairly sure someone can at least discuss your options.
For the softer folk, there are lovely gentle massage and therapy places where nobody will tattoo poultry on you and you can make altogether more sensible life choices.
Basically, there’s a whole little world down here.
So come and join us. Grab a bacon sandwich, acquire a coffee, wander the Mews, support some lovely independent businesses and then pop into the Little Pink Shop and leave with something you had absolutely NO INTENTION of buying.
