Our Third Event of the year The Whole Hog BBQ competition https://www.compbbquk.com/whole-hog-2026 Saw us crowned Champions again. The competition had got a lot stronger but the Ynni Kamado Team https://www.instagram.com/team_ynni_kamado/ managed to successfully defend their Championship at this event last weekend. Located in Pickering Yorks. The events 6 rounds produced 2 x1st and 3 x 2nd places with only one disappointment a 6th plus place in Pork Steak. The team of Adam and Marrianne produced a fantastic set of innovative and original dishes. A particular favourite was the full English breakfast pizza which won its class. Quiet Weekend Doing Herb Feed Chicken Demos and feeding the Staff with our friends at the Old Court. Just Jon and Phil. lots of interest and a fantastic free event that's been running for 20 years raising money for charity. We will be back.

Back from the first event of this year. Volksfest near Bristol . Less hectic than most not a competition but a set of Demos Working with Simon Dyer ( Ynni owner) and ITV's BBQ Champ 2015 ( Simon Dyer () ). We cooked fantastically flavoursome Herb feed Chicken ( www.herbfedpoultry.co.uk )To Give out as Samples and Feed the crew. As Promised Simon turned the Kamado into an Air Fryer cooking at Temperatures well in Excess of 500 degrees C! To create original dishes and flavours. Phil our resident Butcher produced the largest Chicken lollipops we'd ever seen from he herb feed Roster Drumsticks. fantastic bonus they put us by the stage . We'll be back next year.
