Our refund policy is as follows:

NO refunds on donated items.

If by arrangement at the time of purchase and the receipt being signed by a manager, we will offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase. The item needs to be intact with the ticket and receipt intact. Please do not take offence if we query your refund, we are a charity and every penny is needed! At this time during covid 19 we are unable to allow use of the changing room. For this instance we

will gladly sign the receipt at time of purchase for clothes and shoes. We will not and never have refunded on sale items. If when purchasing your item on sale, please bear this in mind!! By law, we do not have to refund anything that is donated to us, but as a courtesy to our customers, we do. If you have any questions please ask at the till. DONATIONS

We can only accept sealed donations on Monday mornings until 1pm. Please do not leave your items outside the shop when it is closed. Also please check your donations for suitability, unfortunately during this time we are being used as a skip, which costs us money to dispose of

As from Monday no clothes in donations please.
We are still trying to work on saving as much as we can, but this is taking longer than we thought, so for the next week we will not be taking clothes.

This is not what we call sellable items. We have today had to throw 5 bin bags of clothes that are dirty, or definitely unsellable, toys that are broken, drawn on, definitely unsellable.
Please check our website or this page or the posters on the door that explain that we cannot accept items that are not sellable.
If this trend continues we will have no option but to stop all donations and only accept via appointment only.
This is not of our doing, this is our collection service who will no longer accept unsellable items.
As suggested in previous posts you can donate unsellable clothes to the clothes banks all around the village.

To all you resellers, boot salers and online sellers.
Would you purchase 5k bags of clothes for £5 from charity shops?
And if so would you like them various sizes or one size only??

IMPORTANT NEWS.

Unfortunately our rag company are no longer collecting rags or damaged items.
So as from today we can only accept the following:

Clean clothes for resale
Shoes clean for resale
Books clean for resale
Handbags for resale
Kitchen items for resale.

No longer can we accept damaged, torn, dirty or incomplete items as This will cost the charity 3 times in refuse collection.
As you already know we do not have space for this.
With electricals we can only accept working items that are complete.

We will be checking your donations when you bring them in.
We will have to stop large donation drop offs for the time being until we can find alternative.

In the meantime please use the clothing banks around the village, if you can take to local recycling centre or your bins.
We can only apologise for any upheaval but this is totally out of our control.
