Happy Hill Top Herdwicks in The Barn Hawkshead. This wool is such a treat to have in my shop. I feel so privileged that the beautiful Hill Top Herdwick flock have provided their pretty wool for my lovely customers !!! Thank you so much Amy and Dan ! I love it sooooo much ❤️❤️❤️

A morning walk in our lovely Hawkshead. It's been great having a rare couple of cosy days indulging in my passion. Being able to watch the Winter Olympics too !! Fab ! Henrietta, Harry and the rest of the flock will be available in my shop from tomorrow, ( once the sheepdog's rounded them up ! )

Happy Saturday folks! 😁 Let me in introduce ... Dilly ❤️ Duck. She is the newest friend of The Barn Hawkshead and you can come and make her at my brand new workshop. In development for a while now, this workshop is perfect for you guys who have done a little bit of needle felting before. Dilly stands about a foot tall and is made using an aluminium armature and lovely soft local wool. Hope you like her 🥰

✨ Happy New Year from The Barn, Hawkshead ✨

As we step into the New Year, I want to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful customers for supporting The Barn Hawkshead through what has been an incredibly successful year.
September marked a very special milestone - The Barn’s first anniversary and I’m so proud of how far it has come in such a short time. None of this would be possible without your continued support, encouragement, and love for everything The Barn Hawkshead represents.
This year also saw the arrival of some brilliant new suppliers and curators, offering an ever-expanding range of beautiful handmade gifts, superb art and thoughtfully crafted items. It’s been a joy to showcase so much talent and creativity under one roof.
The craft workshops have been another real highlight of the year. The attendees have been wonderfully enthusiastic, eager to learn and full of creativity - and I’m so grateful to everyone who has taken part. I’m very much looking forward to hosting many more workshops in 2026.

Here’s to a New Year filled with art, creativity, community, and exciting new ideas. I can’t wait to welcome you back to The Barn soon 💛
